Light and compact
The F25 is one of the lightest 25 horsepower outboards available. This, combined with the compactness of its design, makes it particularly suitable for smaller boats, while the high power it produces mean it is popular on larger boats too.
High performance
Open up the throttle of the F25, and you’ll soon appreciate that it’s an engine that comes with real speed and acceleration. It is fitted with an acceleration pump and a long intake to increase intake efficiency at low to medium speeds, giving you just the power you need when you need it most.
Highly reliable starting
The F25 is fitted with a prime start system and decompression device. The prime start system has a micro computer to control ignition timing and a carburetor to deliver just the right amount of fuel to each cylinder. The decompression device helps the manual starter turn over with the lightest of tugs. This all means a sure, simple start every time.
Superb fuel economy
The F25’s Micro-computer ensures that the ignition timing and carburetor combine to deliver precisely the right amount of fuel to the engine for however many revs it produces. This, in turn, ensures excellent fuel economy and a more cost-effective and environmentally-friendly journey. The F25 also meets all EU marine exhaust emission regulations
Easy to use
With its controls neatly and conveniently clustered at the front of the engine, you’ll find the F25 very easy to use. An optional tiller handle can be used to control the steering, shift change lever, starting switch, engine stop and throttle grip.
Quiet, low-vibration running
The F25 has a counter balancer and long span mounting, which combine to limit the vibration felt in the boat. Meanwhile, the labyrinth exhaust decreases idling and low speed noise, ensuring your trip is as comfortable and quiet as possible.
Fuel warnings and protection
If you’re over-revving the engine, warning lights and buzzers let you know. They also tell you when oil pressure is low or if there’s a danger of overheating – revs are automatically dropped if needed. Along with the latest anti-corrosion system and a fresh water flushing device that clears away salt and sediment, the engine has great protection.
