Braided lines have found their way into the big game and saltwater trolling arena. Being reel brand no. 1 in this field it is therefore logic that Shimano developed a braided trolling line. Our studies advised that one important issue is the rigour braided line gives to rod guides and reel spools. Overcoming this issue Shimano and its technicans added a special wax coating to the line. This creates less friction (=less damage) to the rod guides under pressure. I.e. much softer and friendlier. This line comes on 1000mtr spools in an exclusive black/blue colour combination.
