The Westin Jerkbite DR is the Deep Runner version of the renowned Jerkbite family, specifically engineered for jerk and twitch retrieval techniques in deeper water column layers. Operating at depths between 4 and 5 meters, it reaches predators holding deep when other lures fail to penetrate the strike zone.

This versatile lure responds exceptionally well to aggressive, fast rod-tip jerks with varied pauses. During colder seasons, longer pauses between twitches allow its perfectly balanced suspending (neutral buoyancy) action to freeze the lure in place, triggering impulse strikes from sluggish fish. Even on a steady retrieve, its slender profile produces an appetizing darting action mimicking a panicked baitfish.

Equipped with an integrated Long Cast System, two internal steel balls shift to the tail during the cast for exceptional distance and accuracy, then lock into the belly upon retrieve to perfectly stabilize its swimming action.
