The main gear of the Golden Catch AIRONE reel is made of a large 32mm diameter aluminum drive gear and a brass drive gear. The driven gear is mounted on two ball bearings, one of which is located in the socket above the momentary anti-reverse advance. This design ensures reliable fixation of the gear wheel without backlash and prevents locking of the main gear wheel even under heavy loads. The overall power of the mechanism is complemented by a massive oscillating spool, fastened with an additional metal rod, ensuring the reliability and durability of the device. The precision-engineered spool drive mechanism ensures even fiber lay across the entire width of the spool, without unevenness or dropouts.

The Golden Catch AIRONE reel is equipped with 1 roller bearing for instant anti-reverse and 7 high-quality ball bearings, 2 of which are located in the sub-spool assembly, ensuring smooth operation of the slide during long retrieves and preventing wear on the unit. The remaining bearings are optimally located in all necessary nodes in the reel body and line roller.
